Quality Control Manager
Location: On-site in Montebello
Reports to: VP of Operations
Compensation: The base salary for this role starts at $75,000 and will vary depending on experience.

Position Summary
The Quality Control Manager leads PATH's Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards across manufacturing operations. This role oversees quality systems, laboratory operations, supplier quality, regulatory audits, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Operations to deliver safe, high-quality products.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead PATH's Quality Control and Food Safety programs across all manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and other applicable food safety and quality regulations.
Oversee water quality testing, laboratory operations, sanitation programs, and environmental monitoring.
Develop and maintain product traceability, recall readiness, and quality documentation.
Monitor incoming raw materials, packaging components, production processes, and finished goods to ensure compliance with PATH quality standards.
Lead internal audits, regulatory inspections, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances using root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop quality metrics and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Supervise, coach, and develop the Quality Control team while providing GMP and food safety training to manufacturing employees.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring
Core Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of quality assurance or quality control experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
Experience leading regulatory inspections, customer audits, and third-party certifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Quality Management Systems (QMS) or ERP platforms.
Bonus Qualifications
While not required, these experiences will help you hit the ground running:
Experience in bottled water or beverage manufacturing.
Experience with aluminum packaging or rigid container manufacturing.
PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner, or BRC certifications.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
